This absolutely positively DOES NOT WORK!!! Even if you add salt to the mix, it only makes your weeds delicious, not dead! It'll start to wilt, and look promising, but snaps right back almost immediately!!! Complete waste of time!!!

What did you use? You said it was vinegar & soap, Then you said later vinegar & water. What was the vinegar 5% or 30%?

Organic… huh…. is it gluten free? Thanks, I’ll give this a shot, gluten free or not.

Could I plant a deer food plot after using that solution, or does it make the soil fallow?

I think it just kill the upper portion of the plant. It doesn't kill all the way to the root.

I gave your mixture a go, but had to use very similar products/brands that are here in the UK, worked really well and quicker than I expected it to. Best wishes from across the pond.

Dish soap isn't organic. It would be if it was yucca extract and vinegar.

Love the rooster, he sounds as husky as mine used to. If you want a permanent weed solution, dissolve plain salt (cheap rock salt for roads or water softeners is fine) into about an inch of hot water in a watering can/sprayer, as thick as will dissolve, then top up with cold, and spray/pour over plant, making sure you water the root area well. They won't regrow in days, or indeed at all, and except for brambles, which may require more applications, other weeds will be gone for good. Do be careful to keep salt water away from wanted plants, and away from their root run too! Or you'll also lose the plants you want. Unfortunately therefore, you can't use it in a flower/vegetable bed, but for what you want round the fence and edges, pure salt water will work well. I found it kept a tennis court freer of weeds (nettles and thistles) than a strong and poisonous commercial weedkiller that I did not want around my children. Maybe the problem with your vinegar solution is you're not getting to the roots, maybe try it in a watering can with a thicker spray?

I've moved into a new house and the lawn is completely full of weeds. I'm going to apply turf but I'm unsure if digging up the top layer will be sufficient or do I need to apply weed killer first then remove the top layer?
